Irrational parenting

...and people still wonder why extremely sheltered kids suddenly go ape when they go to a public university....

Date: 2008-02-16 02:45 am (UTC)We were never sheltered. My parents made sure we knew exactly what was out there; there was no weird culture shock when I and my brother went to college.
Over-sheltering is bad in aaaany situation. @_@ Then again, so is over-exposing. XD Hell, I guess we ought to just try for a happy medium. What a thought!
