I haz fish!

dragoness_eWednesday, I finally went out and got fish. I got 3 White Clouds, some fish food, some plant food and took the whole lot home. The fish and plant food went on the tray where I keep the aquarium supplies. The fish went in the aquarium.
It's actually pretty hard to get photographs of fish in an aquarium; the glass throws off the auto-focus rangefinder, and when you get that right, the lighting doesn't always come out right. I did manage to get two pictures that are comprehensible, after some tweaking in PSP to get the lighting right.
They are a bit drab in the pictures, but they have brightened slightly after being home for two days. Next time, however, I get dark gravel, since they blend right in with the natural-colored gravel. What an amazing surprise, that fish native to mountain streams should blend into gravel colored like that on a stream bed...
