Lunch at Maria Elena's

Today, I drove over and had lunch at Maria Elena's, ran some errands at Wal-Mart (which is why I drove--Maria Elena's is in walking distance), and drove around town taking pictures of (relatively) famous Silicon Valley company buildings.
Semi-panoramic view of Maria Elena's

Maria Elena's is a really nice Mexican restaurant in Alviso. They have excellent food. El pollo asado esta muy bien. I heard some guy with his family two tables over babbling about the food being "authentic Mexican cooking, not like Taco Bell" and couldn't help thinking, "Well, D'OH!" Is there anyone out there that actually mistakes Taco Bell for Mexican cuisine?
(If the picture looks a bit odd, it's because it's three pictures merged).
Downtown Alviso

Alviso is, to put it mildly, not rich. It is picturesque, and today, one of the other restaurants in town seemed to be hosting a gathering of classic cars. I annoyed people by stopping in the street to take pictures of it.
Did Model A's actually come in that color?

Anyone know what this one is?

Check out the classic Caddy with TAIL FINS!

Roadster down the street, and yellow pick-up

And always, when you drive around town, there are these sere brown hills looming to the east and west, and in the (generally) clear air, they seem very close. Today was actually a hazy day as things go.
