Progress report

I've been engaged in an absolute fever of writing for the last two weeks. Too much so; I'm going to have to throttle back to get other necessary chores done that I've let slide. It's intoxicating to be in the flow of writing--writing when I'm not a work, and thinking about characters and plots all day at work, so I can jump back in when I get home.

Hopefully, I've slain the plotbunnies that lured me away from my novel project. They've certainly taken me for a run. All the following are G1 Transformers fanfics.

• Bring Flowers, a Dead End/Starscream slashfic, has already been posted. I may go back and do some editing on some of the weak points, though.
• Stunticon Rally, about Dead End and that other Spike, has been written, edited, and gone through first beta-reading; it's currently waiting for the in-depth beta.
• I've just completed the horrid first draft of Autobot Angels; it's waiting initial edit and massive re-writing. Be a while before even my beta gets to see it. I'm not even sure what it's about, it's so in need of editing.. ;-) All I can say is it is mostly set during the movie.
• Scaling Error, a Galvatron point-of-view vignette, was written, edited and ready to post, but then I scrubbed the whole thing after fact-checking against the movie. Maybe I'll re-write it in the future, when I have a better grasp on the character.
• And Mechanonecromancer, a late Season 3 novella, is still in the "vague conceptualization" stage. It awaits me getting a much better grasp on the Season 3 Autobot characters and actually watching the rest of Season 3. However, I had a great deal of fun choreographing the big fight with the shoggoth. ;-)
