Continuing the big batch of bird pictures, except that this one contains mammals instead.
LaFreniere Park has a population of escaped or dumped feral rabbits. This fellow was extremely tame.

How tame? Well, he let us feed him by hand.

Nutria going for a swim

It had rained a lot this week. Note where the nutria is swimming. The canal bank is about 3 feet beyond the sign, normally.
