This is the last batch of pictures from the San Francisco Botanical Gardens. Remember that duckpond I mentioned?



Excessively tame birds by the duckpond


These birds ignored people sitting right by them. They'd let you walk right up to them, and the only reaction would be the geese looking at you as if to ask, "Okay, buddy, where's the food?"

Nice view of the distinctive lobed feet of an American Coot.


Over in the California section, there were some small birds running in the underbrush, including this pair of quail:

There were also quite a few of this intriguing little sparrow with the yellow stripe on its crown.

That's some pretty amazing wildlife. :) Looking at them, you just want to pick up and take flight with them.
