I still think that Astrotrain/Octane/Blitzwing fic was utterly adorable. For, you know, three burly guys trying to destroy a planet.

"I thought that Genesis wave effect thingy was supposed to destroy all life in the planet," Blitzwing yelled at Astrotrain as he jammed one of the scorpio-dragon's stingers down the octo-tyrant's throat. "NOT TURN EVERYTHING ON THE PLANET INTO SLAGGING MONSTERS OUT TO EAT US!"

Especially that scene where Blitzwing and Sandstorm were posturing at each other over Octane.

"Oh yeah? If you're such a great friend, where were you when the Combaticons were trying to kill him? Or Cyclonus and Scourge?" Sandstorm said angrily.

"I was busy keeping all the penny-ante bounty hunters chasing me instead of him, you moron!"

Octane patted Blitzwing's back, his hand straying to the triple-changer's gun barrel. "Take it easy, big guy," he said, his fingers running up and down the long shaft.

I was always fond of the one with Duskwing and Motormaster and the Stunticons... But, then again, I've always enjoyed seeing the mook kick so much aft.

Duskwing smirked at Swindle and held his prizes out in a fan, like so many cards. "So how much for five forcefield actuators?"

Just a nitpick. Swindle is a Combaticon. Dead End, Dragstrip, Breakdown, and Wildrider are the other Stunticons.

The sound of shrieking metal as Motormaster tore the bar from its bolts rudely interrupted Duskwing's bull session with Dead End. Cartwheel, the bartender, cowered helplessly as the enraged truck-former drew back a fist--

"Uh-oh," said Duskwing. "He shouldn't oughta have done that."

Sandstorm stopped short, looking at the crumpled jet half-plowed into the asteroid's dusty surface. "Octane, buddy, did you really mean to land like that?"

"Oh man, that feels so much better," Octane said gratefully as Sandstorm gently pressed the last wing panel back into place--then came the unmistakable vibration of engines firing as the asteriod changed course underneath them.

Starscream tossed a glance back over his shoulder--the bar jammed in the door wasn't going to hold much longer.

"Do you think she'll believe I was possessed by the ghost of Skywarp?" he asked Rumble.

Well, I don't think so, Starscream - but then, painting over her Autobot symbol with a Decepticon one was bound to tweak her off a little bit. Did he ever manage to escape her?

Starscream dove off the edge of the cliff, unfolding into F-22 form as he fell. Damn that damaged lifter! His engines ignited at last and he sped away--

But not before Elita One's parting shot singed his tail.

Starscream looked down rather anxiously at the smelting cauldron below him, and back up at the chains wrapped around his ankles and body. They were holding firmly.

He looked back at the two Transformers looking up at him, one Autobot and one Decepticon.

"Steadfast? Elita? Um, you can let me go now. Joke's gone far enough. Really."

"Who said it was a joke?" the voice of Elita One purred.
