Yes, I'm still plugging away at my NaNoWriMo novel. I actually got 2000 words in today, which only leaves several thousand words in the hole. Oh well, hopefully I have enough slack to cover it. Of course, I won't get much writing done Thanksgiving... but I hope I'm done by then. Aggggh! Word count anxiety!
Well, both Mael and Wulfhere left town quickly (in different directions) and ran into an unseasonable squall out of the North Atlantic. Mael & Malureaa are in a boat, so they'll have a rough time of it. Wulfhere was last seen waiting out the storm in a shepherd's cottage, having a long conversation with said shepherd, in which we learn a little bit more about local history and why Wulfhere wants to kill Mael so badly. (Something about being the dirty rat that killed his little brother...)
And Wulfhere wants to find a witch to cast the runes...
