New Zoo trip, part 2: Asian Mammals

Over in the Asian Domain, there is a cage that once held a Sumatran tiger. Nowadays it contains storks (previously featured) and Something Else...
Something has dug a large hole...

Something large and prickly

Porcupine!

The leopards were being lazy and hiding in dark corners, so no decent pictures of them this time.
We've visited the dromedary camels before, but this day they decided to go for a bit of a wallow in the mud puddle in the middle of their pen.
Waterhole is getting a bit low

Two-tone camel! Aka, 'Mud is good for you'

Some native wildlife

Sometimes the locals get into the pens, too, like this wild rabbit. Oddly enough, I saw no rabbits in the tiger pen.
It's too hot...

Unlike last time, the tigers quite rightly thought that mid-day in August in Louisiana was a ridiculous time to do anything. Therefore, they did nothing.
Mama Pig

A babirusa sow. She recently had piglets.
Maaa, they're looking at me!

Piglets, plural

While we watched, the sow tore up some of the greenery in the pen and carried it over to the piglets. Unfortunately, due to the lighting I didn't get any good pictures of that.
Next time: Wild dogs!
