Gustav update

As of 10:00 AM this morning, we still have power and phone/DSL, but cable is out. Gustav has dropped down to a Cat 2 storm. We're seeing some hurricane-strength gusts, with the usual pile of green branches down on the street, but no serious damage in my neighborhood.

The Northshore, where'd we'd originally considering evacuating to, is getting pounded worse than here. Go figure.

I saw Gustav on TV news and they said it could be a terrible hurricane, at least at the begining. I'm glad to hear the hurrican has drop its strengh and you're ok.

And even if it's a bit ot later, happy b-day to you. ^_^

Good to know y'all are okay. I kept checking up on weather.com's hurricane tracker early this morning to see what it was doing... Continue to stay safe!
