[fic] Heart of Fire

[Transformers G1, late S3] What does Skyfire see in Starscream? A brief glimpse into the heart of Skyfire. Set some time after "Lost and Found" and "Loss".

I'm really enjoying these pieces of Skyfire and Starscream that you're making. Expanding and explaining. Mmm *was looking for some nice G1 fic after all the movie ones*

I do wonder how Hound and Beachcomber are going to react. We can hope for a good reaction from Beachcomber, Hound on the other hand, I dunno about...

These are great. I just thought that I would stalkerishly pop up in your journal randomly to tell you this fact. You don't get nearly enough comments for how good your writing style is. You've used the continuity of the show in such a way that it seems much more serious than it was on some levels, though it's still so very canon. That's not even scratching the surface of how much I love the interactions and implied changes that you've made to these characters through this little string of continuity. I've loved every single one of them.

Especially Lines and The Message, due to how well you wrote what little action there was intertwined with their personal struggles. Somehow I feel like the subject should really squick me when it comes to a pairing like this, but you've made me see past the squick and enjoy it wholeheartedly. I give another vote for the above. As much as I've loved watching these two interact with one another, I would adore to see some outside influences interacting with them as well. Especially the Autobots. But, do what makes you happy. This is all wonderful either way. <3

I'm glad you enjoyed it. You've obviously found some of my stories; if you want to find almost all of them, they are at Fanfiction.net under Dragoness Eclectic (http://www.fanfiction.net/u/7068/).

For Starscream/Skyfire, I've been telling a romance more than anything else--but for a more action-oriented story with Starscream, try Dead Mech Escape (http://www.republicofnewhome.org/lair/writing/transformers/deadmech_escape.html).

It's actually quite the opposite way around. I found my way here from your ff.net page. I've already read most all of your TF stories from there. I just wanted to comment specifically on this arc since it's my favorite. I did read Dead Mech Escape a few days ago, and it was great fun. You're really a very talented writer, so I wanted to give you some more direct kudos since you don't get nearly enough in my opinion given how professional and enjoyable your actual writing style and attention to detail is.
