Vacation, Days 1 & 2
Everyone arrived Friday night, dead tired, and collapsed. Saturday, the weather was a bit gray, so we went downtown to the Rosicrucian Egyptian Park. I've visited there before, and had fun showing it to Steve and Becky. I took a bunch more pictures, too.

Sunday, we drove up to San Francisco and took in the Golden Gate Bridge, of course.

Hi! We're tourists!

San Francisco architecture

We drove around San Francisco trying to find our way to Chinatown and that garage I parked at last time. Unfortunately, trying to work the route in reverse doesn't work in S.F, where many of the roads are (a) one-way, or (b) don't go from there to here, because there's an unmarked-on-the-map break in the road at some major cliff.
On the way back home from San Francisco, we drove down the coastal road, Highway 1 to see the seacoast scenery.

Pigeons nesting in the eaves

We stopped in Pacifica and had lunch at a nice Chinese restaurant. There were pigeons nesting in the eaves outside.
